My chart! by MandyB82 My chart! by MandyB82
I decided to try my hand at this! XD

I put my circles in between straight and pan because while I lean more toward people of the masculine persuasion.....I think I could fall for a woman depending on who she is.
And I know I could fall for a trans person very easily.
In fact, I already have (Richard O'Brien!)

I say gender queer cause while I am all Femm, I also LOVE guy stuff, sports, cars, girls (hahaa), etc.....I am like every guys dream date I am told, too bad I am more attracted to feminine beauty.

:giggle: I'm all femm too, but I'm really not into all that guy stuff. I like scifi/fantasy/horror...basically I'm a dreamer geek with a huge crush on Richard O'Brien .

My husband's not into sports, but he's into cars and bikes :P.
He's not jealous of my crushes, though :giggle:.

This is awesome.

Most people who fill these out are only doing so specifically to show that they're outside the "textbook majority".

Nope. You just fill out the standard Heterosexual Female application and hand it in. :giggle:

It's not only a clever way to show the whole "alliance support" thing, it's also a reality check for some of the folks you're supporting. I mean, let's look at some of the statements that can be derived from this:

1) I don't have to be "part of your club" to support it.
2) Yes, there are normal people out there. Quite a lot of them, actually. That's why they're called "normal".
3) Identity is not a show. There are physical barriers and threats of prejudice presented by some of this stuff, but it's pretty silly to parade these concepts for other reasons.

I'm pretty sure 1) was what you were going for, here. But 2) and 3) are valuable statements, too. It's pretty contradictory to talk about how much you wish this stuff didn't matter, then go around waving a personal "gender spectrum" chart like it's a flag of pride. And here's some news about that: There are standardly heterosexual people out there. In Real People World, they account for most of the actual humans you run across. The reason most people find this stuff unusual? Because it is.

I probably sound weird here, gushing over the hidden merits of your post. But this thing has been in my Messages for a while, and I smile every time I see it. These are bodily issues here, so there are concrete medical and social obstacles involved, and that's why those issues need support. It doesn't hurt for the people who show that support, every now and then, to call attention to how silly the tertiary dialog is.

Hey you don't sound weird at all! I'm glad you like my chart.
I filled it out basically because a friend filled his out and thrust the paper at me saying "do one!" :giggle:
I figured what the hey, I'll do one :).

It was actually pretty fun. I'd seen lots of these things in my messages, but I didn't know what they were until my friend filled his out.
Then, after I filled mine out, another friend asked me for the form and then filled hers out.
It's like a chain! XD

Truth be told, I don't like the word "normal"....it makes everything else seem "incorrect".

I love the word "normal" because it's such a good ego-buster.

People don't want to be "normal" so they claim they're not, but they're like, wrong,
then if someone actually happens to be abnormal they're like "QQ am too normal".

I don't want to be normal...but I'm afraid I am in lots of ways :(.

Some ways I'm downright boring :dead:.

Normal being boring is a common misconception.

Normal people are easier to get to know and learn their humors, charms, quirks etc.

Y'know, on account of you're less likely to scoot carefully away from them beforehand.

I s'pose that's true....but seriously, though, if I met someone like Richard O'Brien...or even Riff Raff...I don't think I'd be scooting away :giggle:.

I happen to like "weird" people :).

You might like this one. I wrote it in response to certain retarded pseudo-rebellious identity angles that kids use for their online profiles, but it's kinda cute regardless:

Well yeah...I mean, I'm just myself, though, I don't go all emo or wear black lipstick or anything. I just act like myself. I like strange things...and sometimes I call myself strange, but I know my brand of strange is actually pretty tame .
